Each client has two accounting specialists available during business hours and by appointment. All of our staff bookkeepers and accountants have at least 10 years of experience and all of them love working with businesses in all walks of life and in all stages of growth. Our location is near to Route 40, 15/501 and 85; however, we also work at the client’s site if it is more convenient.

Meet the Team
FOUNDER | Carole earned an MBA from Babson College in Massachusetts. Prior to opening her firm in 1990, she worked as a financial analyst in private companies in Boston. In addition to tax preparation and accounting, Carole is experienced in strategic planning, budgeting and analysis. Carole enjoys hiking with her dogs and travels often to participate in agility training competitions.
PRACTICE MANAGER | Originally from Puerto Rico, Patricia moved to South Florida in 1998 and obtained a Master’s in Accounting from the University of Miami in 2004. She has worked as a controller with multiple businesses since then and is qualified to prepare individual and business tax returns. Beyond delivering services, she strives to build ongoing relationships with her clients by being available and responsive, and by serving as a long-term referral resource. She loves spending time engaged in community service, especially mentoring individuals in the Hispanic community.
STAFF BOOKKEEPER | Nancy has worked with us since 2004 and is the longest standing member of our team. She worked for GTE (now Verizon) for 30 years in NY, VA and Durham, NC. She started working with small businesses in 1999 right here in Durham and is an expert in payroll and managerial accounting. She enjoys working with clients from our office and is most likely the voice you’ll hear if you call during standard business hours.
STAFF BOOKKEEPER | LaVone has decades of experience in bookkeeping and managerial accounting. Having been an entrepreneur herself, she understands the challenges business owners face when running their business. She loves tackling complex projects and enjoys meeting with clients onsite on a regular basis to review their financial statements and answer questions.
STAFF BOOKKEEPER | A Georgia native, Vickie has had a wide exposure to several industries, including real estate and property management. She graduated from UNC Wilmington with a BS in Business Administration and has over 20 years of experience. She has proven to have an impeccable sense of commitment to each of her clients and continues to be invested in their operational success. She is very thorough in her work and an expert at implementing and redesigning processes in place to streamline the accounting function in any business.
STAFF ACCOUNTANT | Born in Guyana, S.A. and of East Indian descent, Rajini and her family migrated to New York in 1978. She earned a BBA in Finance from Baruch College in NYC. She has worked in numerous industries in New York, Florida, and North Carolina over 20 years and she’s an expert at working through complex accounting challenges and successfully tackling large clean-up projects. She is married with four sons, a daughter-in-law and a tremendously large family.
